Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesA new group is being created as part of the Securities Divisional Technology organization, responsible for the regulatory compliance obligations that pertain to the Securities Division. This is a further step in our response to the regulatory reform initiatives currently in play across the globe, and constitutes a long term commitment to deploy, strengthen, and operate the infrastructure that we have started building over the past couple of years.
This group will combine developers and business analysts, who will work closely together and with the organization to provide an effective and scalable regulatory compliance infrastructure.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Analyze the rules and policies to develop implementation specifications, jointly with legal and any other relevant groups in the firm;
Engage in discussions with marketplace participants, industry organizations and regulators when appropriate, in order to confirm our interpretation and ensure consistency in the implementation, where possible;
Coordinate the implementation projects across teams, when such work involves multiple groups.
Basic QualificationsMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong analytical skills;
Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred QualificationsWhile a technical background is not a pre-requisite, a keen interest for the technical implementation details is extremely important;
Interest for working in a multi-competency environment, which combine legal, technical and business, etc. considerations;
Solid work ethic and motivation;
Ability to work under tight timelines, and experience in solving implementation constraints.
