Core to our culture is supporting our people and our communities. We're honored to be featured in Thrive Global's article, focused on our culture of well-being and service as central to the Goldman Sachs experience. The firm performed particularly well in the Thrive XM Index in areas like parenthood, caregiving, connection, and belonging.

A strong commitment to service is core to our culture at Goldman Sachs. Our people have found new ways to give back to their communities through virtual volunteer projects during the pandemic as part of our signature Community TeamWorks (CTW) initiative.

Goldman Sachs is proud to be a lead partner of #FitForTheFrontLine, a social media campaign that aims to honor health care workers by asking people to commit to physical and mental wellness activities.

In the wake of devastation following the natural disasters this fall, Goldman Sachs, through the firm’s Office of Corporate Engagement and over 1,000 employees who volunteered, galvanized to lend support to those affected.

In Afghanistan, sports are largely off-limits to women and girls. Drew Peterson, an Air Force veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan before he joined Goldman Sachs in 2014, ran with local Afghan women in the country’s second-ever marathon earlier this month.

On September 10, 2015, Goldman Sachs was included on the annual Dow Jones Sustainability North American Index - the only addition within the category Diversified Financials in 2015.
