In Afghanistan, sports are largely off-limits to women and girls. Drew Peterson, an Air Force veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan before he joined Goldman Sachs in 2014, ran with local Afghan women in the country’s second-ever marathon earlier this month.

Goldman Sachs recently celebrated its 12th season of the Student Art Project in Jersey City, New Jersey and showcased the artwork of 30 local students. Launched in 2005 with the Jersey City education, arts and nonprofit communities, the Student Art Project is a free arts and education program aimed to introduce students to new artistic mediums, environments and topical issues within their community.
