Christina Minnis, Alex Chi and Rob Pulford, partners at Goldman Sachs, led a team of people from the firm who ran a 200-mile relay race to raise funds for charity.

The Goldman Sachs team helped to raise $17,000 for Partners in Health as part of the 2017 Ragnar Reach the Beach relay, a 200-mile race from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. The team was one of 200 corporate teams in the competition.

Partners in Health is a Boston-based nonprofit that connects faculty and staff from some of the world’s leading medical institutions with communities in need around the world. Founded in 1987 by a group including Jim Yong Kim, current president of the World Bank, the organization operates clinics and other programs in nine countries.

The Goldman Sachs team was composed of colleagues in the Investment Banking, Investment Management and Merchant Banking divisions. Said Alex Chi, a partner in the Financial and Strategic Investors Group in the Investment Banking Division: “Running with colleagues from three different divisions of the firm for a good cause is another embodiment of the special culture of Goldman Sachs.”
