Career Insights from Goldman Sachs Professionals

In online interviews, two Goldman Sachs professionals talked about what it takes to start a career here, and how we help our people succeed at the firm.

Nicole Pullen-Ross, mid-Atlantic region head in our Private Wealth Management division, was interviewed by the Glass Hammer, an online community for female executives. She talked about her background and her work at the firm, stressing the importance we place on helping women succeed: “The thought and infrastructure dedicated to helping women navigate their careers, create and leverage their networks, and feel supported is tremendous.”

In her interview featured on the Forté Foundation web site, Sandra Hurse, co-head of global campus recruiting, talked about what it’s like to work at Goldman Sachs, and described the qualities we want in our new hires: “We are looking for well-rounded individuals who have a desire to work in the financial services industry and have an interest in our firm. We don’t pull from a narrow group of people who studied specific subjects. We offer a wide variety of career paths and seek to hire people from equally diverse backgrounds.”
