Goldman Sachs Earns Top Employer Awards

Goldman Sachs achieved third place on Universum’s 2013 “World’s Most Attractive Employers – Global Top 50” business ranking list, and also has been named to Working Mother  magazine’s 2013 list of 100 Best Companies for the eighth consecutive year.

Universum’s employer of choice list is based on nominations from 200,000 students in the world’s top twelve leading economies, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, China and India.

Working Mother, a US magazine, ranks companies with programs that support working parents. It recognized Goldman Sachs for its benefits for domestic partners and their children as well as new adoptive and surrogate parents. The firm was also highlighted for its child-care offering and onsite events with pediatricians, geriatric-care managers and parenting experts.

“The firm’s success depends on the quality and diversity of our people, and so we remain committed to attracting the best talent from universities around the world,” says Edith Cooper, global head of Human Capital Management. “In addition to our traditional recruiting activities on campus, we are increasingly leveraging technology and social media to explain our business, expand our reach and connect with candidates from a variety of backgrounds.”
