‘Women in Technology’ Network Mentors Small Business Owners

19 APR 2016

The firm’s Women in Technology network (WIT) and 10,000 Small Businesses program hosted a clinic to educate entrepreneurs on how new technology can transform small business.

During the half-day workshop, members of WIT introduced small business owners to four topics related to digital literacy – social media, big data, the Internet of Things and digital payments – and how adoption could benefit and grow their businesses. The session was an opportunity for analysts and associates in the network to brainstorm ideas with the women of 10,000 Small Businesses and make an impact on a personal level.

“Women in Technology is really trying to help our women grow and evolve, while also trying to do so with helping the community of women around us,” says Liz Byrnes, managing director in Goldman Sachs Technology.
