Background

I received my bachelors degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Finance, Accounting and Marketing.

Getting Started at Goldman Sachs

When I started out here, I was impressed by how efficiently and effectively my team worked together. And I found that even as a new employee, I had access to our senior leaders.

Working in Investment Banking

Working at Goldman Sachs has allowed me to participate in a wide range of projects. I've been involved in two out of the three largest IPOs ever to date, and I've gained exposure to M&A, equity and debt financing. This varied deal experience has given me a better understanding of the industry and has helped make me more effective at my job.

Career Development

I have had some of the most exciting and diverse learning opportunities at Goldman Sachs. That keeps me excited to come to work every day.

The managing director who hired me has played an important role in shaping my career path. He has a strong understanding of what the client needs, and is extremely effective at building that relationship from scratch. He is definitely a role model for me.

The other person who has had a strong influence on me is one of my vice presidents. He was my associate when I first joined and we have worked closely together on a good number of deals. He has been the most important mentor to me because he takes a personal interest in my career development and always gives me candid advice.
