China Student Challenge

The 2016 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women China Student Challenge provides students, who are registered at universities in China and due to graduate in 2018, with the opportunity to demonstrate analytical, creative and strategic thinking by presenting innovative solutions to one of two business challenges.

The overall winning team will also receive individual Apple Macbook Air™ Laptops. All finalists attending the Award Ceremony will receive a certificate of achievement.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women

The 10,000 Women initiative was launched in 2008 by the Goldman Sachs Foundation, and has since provided more than 10,000 women from across 56 countries with business and management education, mentoring and networking.

10,000 Women has supported women from countries as diverse as Brazil, China, Egypt, India and Liberia through a network of 100 academic and nonprofit partners. More than 30 of the world’s leading business schools have participated in the program. The initiative is founded on research conducted by Goldman Sachs – Womenomics and Women Hold up Half the Sky – the World Bank and others which suggests that such an investment can have a significant impact on GDP growth.
