As an Analyst in the Finance Division you will undergo an accelerated training program, combining specialist product and skills training, firmwide orientation and networking opportunities.
The training is rigorous and challenging, but on completion you’ll be ready to start your career at Goldman Sachs.
What You Would be Doing
Following your training you will begin your role as an analyst in one of our Finance teams. As your experience and confidence grow, you will take charge of client relationships and increased responsibility. Ongoing training and development form an integral part of the experience to help you at every step along the way.

Within the Controllers (Product Control) group, analysts can expect to reconcile P&L to traders’ estimates and attribution; perform control and balance sheet analysis; verify product pricing and oversee internal management reporting.
Within Credit, analysts can expect to assess the fundamental business and financial profile of the firm's trading counterparties and recommend appropriate levels of risk; analyze the risks inherent in the products GS trades; coordinate with other divisions to ensure appropriate documentation; monitor, manage and report exposures at a counterpart, product and portfolio level, directly advise Investment Banking and their clients on all matters relating to the credit rating agencies and evaluate the ratings implications of transactions including debt and equity offerings, M&A, LBOs, restructuring and share repurchases.
