The Realty Management Division (RMD) leverages proven best practices, team experience, and market knowledge in delivering investment and asset management services.
RMD provides real estate investment services and asset management to investments where Goldman Sachs has an interest, serving as a partner to other divisions across the firm, including Merchant Banking, Securities and Investment Management. The Realty Management Division has employees in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

How We're Organized
The Realty Management Division is organized into six business units: Hospitality, Loan Asset Management, Real Estate Credit Investing, Portfolio Management, Real Estate Asset Management and Residential Mortgage Asset Management.
Hospitality performs asset management, deal sourcing, underwriting, acquisition, disposition, due diligence and research functions on hospitality assets. This group has expertise in hotel branding, franchise agreements, property improvement and repositioning, and all aspects of hotel and resort operation.
Loan Asset Management manages commercial real estate loans. This team’s services include day to day management of the loans, preparation and execution of business plans, workouts and remedy enforcement.
Real Estate Credit Investing sources, underwrites, and closes investments on behalf of the Goldman Sachs Real Estate Mezzanine Partners (GSREMP) Fund, a $2.66 billion fund.
Portfolio Management manages on-going debt related activities, including loan sourcing and origination as well as restructuring and workout aspects. This team provides an array of reporting and analysis at the portfolio and fund levels.
Real Estate Asset Management performs deal sourcing, underwriting, acquisition, due diligence, asset management and disposition functions. The group specializes in office, retail, industrial and multifamily assets.
Residential Mortgage Asset Management provides support to the Goldman Sachs Residential Trading Desk. This team manages the Goldman Sachs residential loan portfolio, including performing and distressed loans, 2nd liens, secured lines of credit, and charged off accounts.
