Business Overview

I have been a hair dresser since 1991. I have a salon that offers basic beauty services and homemade beauty products

Challenges

While I have 17 years of business experience, I have always had a problem with finance. I did not have a clear understanding of how to handle my finances. I could not keep track of my money. I also did not know how to market my services or how to introduce my products and services to market.

Results

The knowledge I have gained in terms of competitive advantage, market analysis, pricing, and financial statements through the 10,000 Women program has been critical in allowing me to write a comprehensive business plan.

I have also seen immediate improvements in my business. I have hired two more employees, my production packaging and labeling has improved and my beauty productions sale has increased significantly. Since graduation I have increased sales of moisturizers by about 300%.

Future Goals

I would like to expand my business by having a big beauty salon with more employees and more services and facilities for my customers.
