I have learned that it is important to step away from your business and to learn from mistakes.
I specialize in ethnic Indian wear for women. The fabric of my products is mostly handwoven and procured directly from weavers all over India. I specialize in saris, blouses and salwar kameez sets and yardage.
My biggest challenge has been making a mark in a highly competitive market as well as finding new customers and at the same time retaining old ones.
10,000 Women has taught me that if you have a good product and believe in yourself, success will come. I have also learned that it is important to step away from your business and to learn from mistakes.
Since graduating from 10,000 Women, my revenue has increased by 50% and I have hired ten new employees. I have also opened a new store and have recently launched an online portal: www.anaghadesigns.com.
In the future, I plan to turn ANAGHA into a brand name. I would like to have ANAGHA in all the major cities of India and abroad.
