The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon by Brad Stone Wins the 2013 Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award.

The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon by Brad Stone has been named the 2013 Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year. Stone was named this year's winner at an award dinner held in London on November 18, 2013. The award, which recognizes the book that provides ‘the most compelling and enjoyable insight into modern business issues’, was presented by co-chairs Lloyd Blankfein, Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs, and Lionel Barber, editor of the Financial Times.

The following books comprised the 2013 shortlist:

The Billionaire's Apprentice: The Rise of The Indian-American Elite and The Fall of The Galleon Hedge Fund by Anita Raghavan (Hachette Book Group/Business Plus)

Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg (WH Allen/Random House Group; Knopf)
