Winner: Insurance Asset Manager of the Year

GSAM Insurance Asset Management was awareded Insurance Asset Management Firm of the Year at Reactions magazine’s 2011 London Market Awards on June 30. May 5, 2011 GSAM won ‘Alternatives Manager of the Year’ at Professional Pension’s UK Pension Awards.

The UK Pensions Awards have been running for over fourteen years. They are regarded as the industry's most prestigious accolades. Judges measure final submission against four set criteria: innovation, client communication, performance and service standards.

Professional Pensions (circulation 13,204 print, 18,000 online) is the UK’s leading weekly pension journal and its awards event was attended by almost 1,000 Institutional Clients, Consultants, Asset Managers and other advisers.

Shortlisted: Investment Manager of the Year

The Global Pensions Awards has now been running for over ten years and provides an opportunity for service providers in the pensions industry to receive international recognition for their outstanding products and services.

The awards are nominated by pension funds and then judged by a panel consisting of senior names from the industry who will decide on the winners. The firms who reach the shortlist have achieved not only strong performance in a particular asset class during 2009, but also boast a clear investment process and philosophy, a stable investment team and strong business management.
