Judd Gregg to Serve as International Advisor to Goldman Sachs

New York, May 27, 2011, 2011 – The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.(NYSE: GS) today announced that Judd Gregg, a former three-term U.S. Senator from New Hampshire has been named an international advisor to the firm. He joins a group of 17 international advisors and will provide strategic advice to the firm and its clients, and assist in business development initiatives across our global franchise.

Senator Gregg was the ranking Republican member on the Appropriations; Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committees. Prior to joining the U.S. Senate, he served two terms as governor of New Hampshire and four terms as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Columbia University.
