Marriage Equality


On June 25, 2012, the firm hosted attorney Theodore Olson for a discussion with Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO Lloyd Blankfein on the legal case over marriage equality. Olson is lead co-counsel for plaintiffs challenging Proposition 8, California’s ban on same-sex marriage. Over 850 Goldman Sachs people attended the event, including hundreds who participated via phone and video conference.
