Access to Capital for Women Entrepreneurs

In March 2014, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) launched the first-ever global finance facility dedicated exclusively to women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The facility is a $600 million effort to enable approximately 100,000 women-owned SMEs to access capital.

Since launching, the program has already reached 25,000 women entrepreneurs in seven emerging markets and made $150 million in committed investments. Learn more about the facility.
