Access to Capital for Women Entrepreneurs
In March 2014, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) announced a partnership to create the first-ever global finance facility for women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The fund will raise up to $600 million to encourage banks in local markets to lend to women owned SMEs. The facility is expected to enable 100,000 women around the world to access capital to grow their businesses. Learn more about the announcement.
