Returnship® and BRAVA

Creating Professional Opportunities for
Women Executives

As part of our commitment to the professional development of women in our workforce, our BRAVA program ("Broaden, Advance and Achieve") was launched to support Goldman Sachs’ newly promoted female vice presidents and enhance their skills to transition into their new roles. Nearly 150 women in our Asia Pacific and Bangalore offices have already participated, creating a more diverse workplace and infusing fresh thinking throughout our organization.

We also created the Bangalore Returnship® pilot program, a 10-week internship to help women overcome obstacles associated with returning to the workforce after taking a career break or detour. The program is modeled after the global Returnship® program, which has helped more than 140 women around the world to overcome barriers to reentry.
