Aiding in the Pursuit of Zero Emissions

Nuclear power was supposed to provide more than half of Japan’s electricity by 2030. But the tragedy at the Fukushima Daiichi reactor in 2011 has provoked strong opposition to nuclear plants, as well as a significant energy shortfall. In August 2012, we established "Japan Renewable Energy," a company specializing in renewable energy projects, to help address the country’s energy supply–demand imbalance by investing in wind and solar power opportunities.
