UIG Community Development Grants Program
The UIG Community Development Grants Program seeks to support community development initiatives that are targeted to low- and moderate- income communities and responsive to community needs.
The program focuses on responding to key community needs, such as affordable housing and community services for low- and moderate-income individuals and economic development and neighborhood revitalization in low- and moderate-income communities, in the following geographies:
- New York: the five boroughs of New York City
- New Jersey: Hudson County, Essex County
- Utah: Salt Lake County, Summit County, Tooele County
This competitive process seeks to fund high impact, program-related grants, generally ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. Non-profits that are aligned with these programmatic and geographic guidelines are encouraged to apply.
To be considered for a grant, applicants must be domestic, non-profit, tax-exempt organizations (under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code).
2014 Grant Cycle Application Period: The Application Period has ended. Applicants will be notified in late Fall 2014.
