Ms. Stecher is Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Bank USA. She is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and co-chairs the Compensation Policy Committee. She chairs the Bank’s Management Committee and serves on the Boards of Directors of Goldman Sachs Bank USA and Goldman Sachs International Bank. She also chairs the Global Markets Institute and is a member of the Steering Committee on Regulatory Reform. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 as a Partner and Head of the Tax Department. In 2000, she was named General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs, serving as Co-Head of the Global Legal Organization for more than 10 years. She was named Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in May 2011.
Ms. Stecher is a trustee of Columbia University and a member of the Dean’s Council of Columbia Law School. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Honorary Board of the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.
