"After more than 14 years of dedicated service, Alex von Moll, head of Commodities Sales for EMEA and Asia Pacific, will retire from Goldman Sachs.\r\nIn his role as head of Commodities Sales in EMEA and Asia Pacific, Alex has played a significant role in expanding and deepening our client franchise in both regions. In addition, he has driven the development and innovation of new product offerings and risk management solutions for both corporate and investor clients that have contributed to our position as the market leader in commodities.\r\nIn addition to his commercial contributions, Alex has helped recruit and train many of our best people around the world, acting as a mentor to many.&nbsp;\r\nAlex is a member of the Suitability Committee, EMEA Conduct Committee and EMEA Client Selection &amp; Review Group. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2011 and was named partner in 2020.\r\nPlease join us in thanking Alex for his many contributions to the firm, our clients, and our people, and in wishing him and his family the best in the years ahead.\r\n"
