2018 Spring Exploratory Programs
Our spring exploratory programs are a perfect opportunity for students to learn more about the financial services industry and explore career opportunities at Goldman Sachs. We gathered a few highlights from our 2018 programs including Engineering Essentials, Undergraduate Camp, Women’s Leadership Camp, and Pride Summit.
Seventy-two sophomores joined us at the Engineering Essentials program to learn more about the extensive set of diverse opportunities within Goldman Sachs Engineering. Our engineers sat with participants and explained how they make things possible at the firm and we hosted a group case study that involved attendees developing a stock visualization tool that they presented to Goldman Sachs engineers. Participants learned about new technologies, languages and key components of development (modelling, services, testing etc.) via hands on training and exercises.
At Undergraduate Camp, over 300 participants across Dallas, Salt Lake City, and New York enjoyed a welcome reception where they networked with their peers and Goldman Sachs professionals. Participants heard from professionals across the firm during the program, including Richard Rivero, managing director and global head of Investment Banking Division Classic Strats.
Women's Leadership Camp
During our three-day Women’s Leadership Camp, we hosted 230 women across our New York and Salt Lake City offices. Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein sat down with CCBD managing director Margaret Anadu to have a conversation with our 2018 Women’s Leadership Camp attendees.
Our Pride Summit consisted of a three day event where 63 candidates met with our professionals here at Goldman Sachs to learn about our business and career opportunities. Participants heard from Susie Scher, a managing director in the Investment Banking Division who closed with a session on breaking barriers on Wall Street.
