Goldman Sachs and Forte Foundation Partner to Increase the Number of Women Pursuing MBAs

Goldman Sachs and Forte Foundation convened over 600 women in an effort to empower women with the content and connections required to attend top business schools. 

At Goldman Sachs, we are looking for people with different educations, personalities, experiences, skills and working styles. Our partnership with the Forte Foundation enables us to tap into a diverse pool of talent while simultaneously assisting women reach higher levels of education. The Forte Forum is a free, after-work event held across twelve cities annually and includes a range of talks, panels and networking featuring MBAs in various industries.

 

During the two-day New York City event, Goldman Sachs’ Chief Diversity Officer, Erika Brown, moderated a panel featuring MBA alumnae to share advice and stories about how they chose a career, what motivated them to pursue an MBA, and the successes and challenges they've faced.

Participants also had the opportunity to network with admissions representatives from some of the world's best business schools as well as their peers.
