Firmwide Strategy is a global team that works with senior divisional and business unit management to set and execute key strategy priorities for Goldman Sachs. The group develops, evaluates, and executes plans for new businesses and growth initiatives across the firm and leads strategic transactions, including acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures. On any given day, our work includes executing a strategic acquisition for Goldman Sachs, leading a transformational growth initiative for the firm, incubating a new business, investing in a fintech start-up, overseeing the integration of a past acquisition, and more.

The Firmwide Strategy team works with other teams across the firm to identity, evaluate, and execute opportunities that advance the firm’s objectives. The group is comprised of four verticals:

• Strategy and GS Accelerate
• Mergers & Acquisitions
• Strategic Investing
• The Office of Integration

Working in the Firmwide Strategy, you will be helping Goldman Sachs with its most critical strategic opportunities. We look for people who are interested in working in financial services who have strong multitasking, analytical, quantitative and technical skills and experience. Candidates for the Firmwide Strategy team should have the ability to review and synthesize information and form their own, independent judgements and have strong communication skills.
