"Overview\r\nThe Goldman Sachs EMEA Banking Academy provides students in their penultimate year of studies the opportunity to learn more about Invesment Banking. The aim is to upskill and prepare candidates for a future career in Invesment Banking thorugh a 3-day interative insight event.&nbsp;&nbsp;\r\nAs a participant, you will:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Discover the extensive range of career opportunities across the Investment Banking business and build insights into the various functions, roles and responsibilities</li>\r\n<li>Gain valuable insights&nbsp;into key concepts and trends across the Investment Banking industry</li>\r\n<li>Develop your technical skills through interactive workshops</li>\r\n<li>Gain resume-enhancing skills and insights on how to prepare effectively for recruiting processes</li>\r\n<li>Work closely with a group of peers to develop your soft skills and build your network</li>\r\n<li>Network with Goldman Sachs professionals and hear more about their experiences and diverse backgrounds</li>\r\n</ul>\r\nProspective applicants should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in an Investment Banking career through intial work experience or internship within the broad Financial Services industry (Investment Banking, Financing, Consulting, Equity Research, Valuations, Transaction Services, Risk Management, Accounting). Applicants should also be interested in the internship opportunities in Investment Banking across our 2026 London Summer Internship Programme and 2026 European Off-Cycle Internships.&nbsp;\r\nFollowing your application, you can expect to hear back from us by end of June. The Academy will take place over 3-days in September.\r\nAbout Investment Banking\r\nInvestment Banking delivers high quality strategic advice and creative financing solutions to our clients, including mergers, acquisitions, financing or risk management transactions. Our work includes advising a company on a cross-border merger, structuring the initial public offering of a subsidiary, refinancing an outstanding bond and more.\r\nOur Classic Investment Banking functions works in developed and emerging markets worldwide to deliver banking services for a wide range of industries. Our team approach to client service enables our bankers to play an important role in building relationships and executing transactions.\r\nIn the Capital Soltutions Group, our teams work closely with corporate clients, pension funds, financial sponsors and governments to structure and execute some of the largest and most complex financing and risk management solutions across the full product spectrum, including equity, debt and derivatives.\r\n"
