Overview

At Goldman Sachs, we believe in the power of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their students. HBCUs play a substantial role in social mobility and economic growth, by investing in them we are investing in a more equitable future. 

This program will focus on providing participants with a hands on, comprehensive technical training experience, opportunities to network with alumni of HBCUs and senior leadership all while receiving dedicated coaching and mentoring. The program includes training sessions, group project work and networking events for an average time commitment of 3-4 hours per week.
 

Location: Virtual and potential in-person component

As a participant, you will:

  • Experience the culture of excellence, teamwork, innovation and the overall commitment to diversity at Goldman Sachs
  • Receive robust skills training to prepare students for careers in financial services and insight into the Goldman Sachs recruiting process 
  • Attend weekly virtual sessions with Goldman Sachs professionals, explore the various businesses and key financial functions 
  • Receive an academic scholarship upon successful program completion
  • Have the opportunity to apply for a summer internship the following year

The experience will culminate in a memorable capstone project – a case study competition during which you will compete in teams for the chance to win up to $1,000,000 in prize funding for your school. Watch a recap of the participants’ preparation and pitch competition below:
