On January 24, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women hosted at panel at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland on “What is Working in the Global Movement to Economically Empower Women.” The panel discussion included Lloyd Blankfein, chairman & CEO of Goldman Sachs; Arianna Huffington, president & editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, and Melanne Verveer, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues at the U.S. Department of State. Nina Easton, senior editor & columnist at Fortune magazine, moderated the panel. At the panel, Goldman Sachs announced a new partnership with The Huffington Post to collaborate in highlighting the success and partnerships of 10,000 Women, in a new endeavor called “What is Working.”
