Goldman Sachs to Donate ¥500 Million to Japan Earthquake Efforts

New York, March 13, 2011 -- The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) today announced a financial contribution of ¥500 million (US$ 6.1 million) to assist the emergency relief efforts in the wake of the devastating earthquake which struck northeastern Japan on March 11.
