J. Michael Evans

Vice Chairman and Global Head of Growth Markets

Mr. Evans has been the Global Head of Growth Markets since January 2011 and a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since February 2008. He is a member of the Management Committee and the Co-Chairman of the Client and Business Standards Committee.

From 2004 to June 2012 he served as Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific, from 2003 to 2008 he served as Global Co-Head of Goldman Sachs’ Securities business, and from 2001 to 2007 he served as Co-Head of the Equities Division.

Mr. Evans is Chairman of the Board of Right To Play USA and a board member of City Harvest. He is also a trustee of the Asia Society and a member of the Advisory Council for the Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University.
