David Hammond to Leave Goldman Sachs
After seven years of service, David Hammond, head of Metals and Mining within the Global Natural Resources Group in Investment Banking, will leave the firm.
Throughout his time at the firm, David advised companies on a range of transactions, bringing significant experience and expertise to our clients, and played an important role in helping to grow and strengthen our Natural Resources franchise.
In addition to his commercial contributions, David has been a mentor to many colleagues in Investment Banking during his tenure.
David joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 as a partner.

Leadership Changes in Global FICC Sales
Following the announcement that Eric Murciano is retiring, we are pleased to announce that Adam Crook and Jennifer Roth will become co-heads of Global Currencies Sales and Emerging Markets International Sales, in addition to their existing responsibilities.
In their expanded roles, Adam and Jen will be responsible for the distribution of global currencies and emerging market products to international clients. They will focus on deepening client relationships, driving wallet share gains, and coordinating globally on coverage and content.
Adam and Jen will partner with Fernando Rivera, Ryad Yousuf, Isaac Wong and Ash Ang. Fernando will continue to serve as head of Americas Emerging Markets Regional Sales, and Ryad will continue to serve as co-head of EMEA Emerging Markets Sales. Both will maintain their existing roles, including as co-heads of Global FICC Sales Strats & Structuring. Isaac and Ash will continue to lead currencies and FICC emerging markets client coverage in Asia Pacific Ex-Japan, in addition to their other responsibilities.
Adam is currently co-head of EMEA Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales and head of Global FX Hedge Fund Coverage and EMEA FICC Hedge Fund Coverage. He joined Goldman Sachs as a vice president in 2008, and was named managing director in 2013 and partner in 2020.
Jen is currently head of Global Currencies and FICC Emerging Markets Sales in North America and Brazil, as well as Latin America Equities Distribution. She joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2003, and was named managing director in 2013 and partner in 2020.

Eric Murciano to Retire
After 21 years of distinguished service, Eric Murciano, co-head of Emerging Markets (EM) and Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales in EMEA, will retire.
Eric joined Goldman in 2004 on the FX Hedge Fund sales desk, covering Global Macro Hedge Funds on FX and FX options. In 2010, he became head of FX Institutional Sales (UK HF & Real Money clients), and in 2014, he became head of EM Sales for international clients, before assuming his current responsibilities as co-head of EM and FX Sales (EMEA) in 2017.
In his roles, Eric has been dedicated to serving our clients with excellence, with a focus on growing and deepening our FX business, while contributing actively to building and strengthening our EM franchise.
In addition to his many commercial contributions, Eric has been a valued leader, and helped develop and mentor many of our people in EMEA and around the world.
Eric was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2018.

Bryon Lake to Join Padi Raphael as Co-Head of Third Party Wealth
We are pleased to announce that Bryon Lake will join Padi Raphael as global co-head of Third Party Wealth (TPW) in the Client Solutions Group. Padi and Bryon will work together to accelerate the significant progress we have made in building key capabilities and expanding our client footprint in TPW, which is an important strategic initiative for AWM.
Bryon joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2024. He previously served as global head of ETF Solutions at J.P. Morgan.
Padi joined Goldman Sachs in 1999, and was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2016.
