Front End Engineer (UI)

Using analytical ability and decision-making skills to arrive at creative and client-oriented solutions.

Work with key stakeholders, UX designers, clients, and other development teams delivering digital products to our institutional clients. Drive the architectural design and technical execution of the engineering needs of the equities businesses. Take responsibility for project delivery as well as wider ownership in our functional area. Design and build frameworks including automated testing through collaboration with global cross-functional teams.

Design complex user interface with minimal assistance. Practice front-end development libraries such as React.JS or Angular. Work with mainstream web transports such as REST and WebSockets. Mobile and App Engineer (Android and iOS)

Develop interfaces, infrastructure, and/or tools supporting applications on Android using the Android SDK, or using the iPhone using the iOS SDK.

Work closely with UX and product designers within Agile processes to build mobile user experiences which will be A/B tested for effectiveness and impact to our clients. Develop mobile apps using knowledge of native Android, iOS languages. Integrate modern technologies and methodologies, such as Github, or StackOverflow, RESTful web services, OAuth 2.0 (and/or the latest version of Android Studio), as well as Xcode, Objective C and/or Swift to build cutting-edge software that will include advance data visualizations. Build deep knowledge of mobile architectures & that encourage code reuse and ease debugging.

Quantitative Engineer

Design and implement the quantitative and technical aspects of electronic execution, multi-asset models, and algorithms at the nexus of finance, technology and speed.

This ranges from algorithmic trading, pricing, exchange connectivity, smart order routing, pre- and post-trade analysis and quantitative research. Executes the next generation of Java-based trading algorithms, tailoring algorithms to each client’s specific needs, using client feedback to drive product development through continual interaction with the broader team. Partner with Quants, bankers, and traders to implement and rigorously back test signals and models. Communicate and coordinate across multiple groups, including strategists, technology, risk managers, senior management, regulators and controllers to implement the new capital regulations and business initiatives.
