"Overview\r\nThe Goldman Sachs Banking Academy provides women students in their penultimate year of studies the opportunity to learn more about Banking over three training days. The aim is to upskill and prepare women into future banking roles.&nbsp;\r\nThe Banking Academy is an interactive three-day insight event, open to all degree backgrounds and is designed to introduce students to the financial world through hands on experience.\r\nAs a participant, you will:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Discover the extensive range of career opportunities in the financial services industry</li>\r\n<li>Gain valuable insights&nbsp;into key areas across the Investment Banking industry</li>\r\n<li>Gain tangible resume-enhancing skills and tips through interactive workshops</li>\r\n<li>Work closely with a group of peers to grow your technical and soft skills</li>\r\n<li>Network with Goldman Sachs professionals and hear more about their experiences and diverse backgrounds</li>\r\n</ul>\r\nFollowing your application, you can expect to hear back from us by end of June 2025. The Academy will take place over 3-days in September/October 2025.\r\nAbout Investment Banking\r\nInvestment Banking delivers high quality strategic advice and creative financing solutions to our clients, including mergers, acquisitions, financing or risk management transactions. Our work includes advising a company on a cross-border merger, structuring the initial public offering of a subsidiary, refinancing an outstanding bond and more.\r\nOur Classic Investment Banking functions works in developed and emerging markets worldwide to deliver banking services for a wide range of industries. Our team approach to client service enables our bankers to play an important role in building relationships and executing transactions.\r\nIn the Financing Group, our teams work closely with corporate clients, pension funds, financial sponsors and governments to structure and execute some of the largest and most complex financing and risk management solutions across the full product spectrum, including equity, debt and derivatives.\r\n"
