Alison J. Mass

Alison Mass is Chairman of Investment Banking and an advisor to corporate and private equity clients globally. She is a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Banking Executive Committee. Ms. Mass also leads the Office of Alumni Engagement for the firm.

Previously, she was Global Head of the Financial and Strategic Investors Group (FSIG) in the Investment Banking Division, responsible for relationships with private equity and multi-national clients. Before that, Ms. Mass was co-head of FSIG in the Americas from 2003 to 2015. She joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2001.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mass worked at Merrill Lynch from 1990 to 2001 and held several senior management positions in the securities and investment banking areas. Earlier in her career, she worked at Drexel Burnham.

Ms. Mass serves as a member of the New York University Stern Executive Board. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York City Ballet.
