The following email was sent today to all Goldman Sachs employees in our Salt Lake City Office.
Last night, we received confirmation that two of our colleagues on the 8th floor of 111 South Main Street have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals have not been in the office since Thursday, March 12, and will remain in self-isolation as they recover. We are in contact with the Utah Department of Health and have notified those who were in close contact with these individuals – these colleagues will also be in self-isolation at home for 14 days.
For our other colleagues in 111 South Main Street and 222 South Main Street, there is no need to self-isolate and you can continue to work from our offices in accordance to your team’s BCP strategy. Out of an abundance of caution, our buildings continue to undergo a deep cleaning using products deemed effective against COVID-19.
If you have any concerns about working in the office, please communicate with your manager.
As a reminder, if you are not feeling well, you must stay home even if your symptoms are mild (e.g., scratchy throat, runny nose). Take sick time or work from home until 24 hours after your symptoms have subsided. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 infection (e.g., fever, cough or shortness of breath) you should contact your manager(s) to notify them of your status, contact Wellness and register on the HCM business continuity portal.
As always, your health and safety remain our top priority. If you have concerns about your health, please contact your primary care physician. If you have any additional questions, contact Wellness Exchange Americas. Please continue to visit the COVID-19 site on GSWeb for up-to-date guidance and resources.
