I attended one of France’s top engineering schools, ENPC, where I initially focused on engineering – but I quickly recognized that finance was more my style than crunching algorithms! This led me to pursue my master’s at Columbia University, an experience that was so enriching. I loved the immersion in the vibrant American university culture and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Living in New York was thrilling, the energy of the city is something else.

Interning within the Investment Banking team in the Paris office was an incredible opportunity that solidified my desire to pursue a career in M&A. Being involved in M&A deals at such a young age was a unique learning experience. These M&A transactions are pivotal and transformative for companies – I gained invaluable insights in just a few months, and was eager to come back to continue to learn. However, what I appreciated the most was the team. This is a job where the human element is so essential – and I really valued the colleagues I worked with.

Working in Investment Banking has reinforced my entrepreneurial spirit. From the very beginning, I was encouraged to voice my opinions, share my ideas, and suggest new ways of doing things. The learning curve is unmatched. I gained confidence early on thanks to the trust my team placed in me. Being put early on in front of clients and taking significant responsibilities right away pushed me to grow and adapt quickly.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping clients achieving their strategic goals. It’s impressive how we deploy the full range of our firm’s expertise and resources to deliver tailored solutions that address their unique opportunities or challenges. Our collaboration across various specialties – M&A professionals, industry experts, and financing specialists – allows us to deliver the best possible advice and solutions.
