Meet Our 2019 Class of Summer Interns

Goldman Sachs welcomes nearly 2,800 students this summer who are joining the firm around the globe as interns in more than 37 offices and all the firm’s divisions.

During their 10-week internship program, our summer analysts and associates will be working side-by-side with our people, contributing on real projects as they learn about the financial services industry. They will have opportunities to connect with fellow interns as well as the firm’s senior leaders and their assigned buddies throughout the summer during special networking and social events.

This year’s intern class is notable for its diversity, not just in terms of backgrounds but also interests and hobbies. Globally, 54 percent are women.  In the Americas, 15 percent are Hispanic/Latino and 13 percent are black. The class also includes a Hollywood body double, a semi-professional basketball player, professional ballet dancers, and a cadet of the Royal Air Force.

“We look forward to the fresh perspectives, energy and diverse set of experiences our interns bring,” says Vicki Tung, global head of campus recruiting for the firm. “This year’s class shows that the future leaders of the firm come from all backgrounds, skills and interests.”
