A $700 million sale of a soccer (or football, depending on where you live) team is a big deal, even by professional sports standards. Goldman Sachs has acted as an extension of the AS Roma staff, first helping them explore a potential new stadium, then facilitating the innovative financing and sale of the club to the US-based Friedkin Group.
Teamwork helped us create a winning solution. Seamless coordination across many parts of the firm was key to making things possible.
