An Update on Your Goldman Sachs Internship
The following email was sent today to all expected Goldman Sachs summer interns globally outside of India.
As new developments related to COVID-19 emerge, we want to emphasize that the safety and wellbeing of our people, including our incoming summer interns, are top of mind for us.
On a daily basis, we continue to review the firm’s response to this global health situation and have implemented a series of precautionary and business continuity measures.
Our primary goal for the Goldman Sachs Summer Internship Program is unwavering: to enable you to learn and grow by experiencing our firm’s culture, people, businesses and impact. In light of the current environment and to ensure we live up to this goal, we have decided to revise the start date of your 2020 Summer Internship Program to the provisional date of July 6, 2020 and shorten the program duration to five weeks in total.
Please know that we intend to honor the full financial commitment of your original program duration. We will provide further information on how and when payment will be distributed. To the extent possible, we will work with you individually to try and resolve any complexities that may arise and impact your participation in the program. The Goldman Sachs Recruiting Team will stay connected with you over the next few weeks, as we continue to explore different internship formats, including virtual components.
