TxB's Vision for Webhooks

Imagine you have an upcoming surf vacation in a few days, and you order a new GoPro to capture your memorable moments catching some waves. Once shipped, you find yourself repeatedly opening the Amazon app to see if your package has moved. Wouldn’t it be great if you could receive a push notification every time your package changed hands (or warehouses)? Webhooks make this possible.

How We Use Webhooks

At TxB, we use webhooks to give clients instant updates on their payment statuses so they know in real-time when a payment has failed or requires action. This way, they can quickly re-initiate their payments to create a seamless experience for their end-customers.

TxB webhooks are efficient, flexible, real-time, and developer friendly:

  • Clients can create multiple webhook subscriptions, enabling them to receive the same updates on different reconciliation systems or services, which offers flexibility in design.
  • We offer flexible customization, so our clients can select the frequency and update types that work best for them.
  • Our webhooks are also highly secure, leveraging Mutual TLS (Transport Layer Security) for authentication and signature-based message verification.

The Webhook Experience

Whether using ACH for employee payroll, or the UK’s Faster Payments Service to pay a London vendor in real-time, we want clients’ experiences to be consistent and the technology integration to be fast and easy.

We are investing in webhooks to improve the developer experience and help clients avoid costly API polls for asynchronous journeys like payment processing. Instead, client systems can just sit back and listen for updates from our end.
