Eric Lane is Global Co-Head of the Consumer and Investment Management Division. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Management Division, where he had oversight for the Private Wealth Management, Alternatives, Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs Asset Management Distribution businesses. Mr. Lane is a member of the Management Committee and Chair of the Partnership Committee. He is also a member of the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee (CBSC).
Mr. Lane joined Goldman Sachs in 1996. He was named Managing Director in 2001 and Partner in 2002.
Mr. Lane serves on the Board of Trustees of The Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Board of Trustees of The Chapin School and the Board of Directors of 92nd Street Y.
