Beth M. Hammack

Beth Hammack is Co-Head of the Global Financing Group and a member of the Management Committee. She is a member of the Investment Banking Executive Committee, Firmwide Capital Committee, Firmwide Asset Liability Committee, Global Inclusion and Diversity Committee and serves as a Global Executive Sponsor of the Women’s Network. 

Previously, Ms. Hammack was Global Treasurer of Goldman Sachs and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Bank USA, where she was responsible for the firm’s funding, liquidity and capital management strategy. Prior to that, she held a variety of leadership positions in Interest Rates Products (IPR) trading, including Global Head of Short Term Macro trading, Global Head of Repo trading and Co-Head of US Interest Rate Products cash trading. Earlier in her career, Ms. Hammack was a market maker on the IRP desk, where she traded a variety of instruments, focused primarily on options and later agencies. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1993 as an Analyst in Debt Capital Markets and was named Managing Director in 2003 and Partner in 2010.

Ms. Hammack serves on the boards of Northwell Health and Math for America. She is a former chair of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee and a former member of the Treasury Market Practices Group and the Financial Research Advisory Committee.
