Marc Nachmann

Marc is global head of Asset & Wealth Management. He is a member of the Management Committee and Firmwide Risk Council, and serves as co-chair of the Firmwide Investment Policy Committee.

Prior to assuming his current role, Marc served as global co-head of the Global Markets Division. Before that, he served as global co-head of the Investment Banking Division (IBD). Previously, Marc was head of the Global Financing Group in IBD and head of Latin America for the firm. Earlier in his career, Marc was co-head of the Global Natural Resources business. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 in the Investment Banking Division and was named managing director in 2002 and partner in 2004.

Marc earned a BA in Physics, Economics and Mathematics from Wesleyan University in 1991 and a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard Business School in 1994.
