What’s it like living in Dallas?
Be prepared for some hot summers, but don’t worry. Our weather just means you’ll spend each weekend at a pool party!
How would you describe your Dallas team?
My team is global, so I have coworkers that sit across several offices. We connect often through zoom, but I also sit next to our partner marketing team in Global Banking and Markets!
Favorite thing about the office?
My favorite part of the Goldman Sachs Dallas office is its location—only five minutes from Uptown and Downtown. It’s the perfect walking distance to tons of restaurants and apartments.
Favorite places to eat?
One of my favorite things about Dallas is that it’s such a foodie city. There are great hotpot places and cafes. It’s hard to choose a favorite spot, but I’d say Loro, Niwa, Zoli’s, Revolver Taco, Bangkok City…to name a few.
Favorite things to do?
During the summer, a must-do activity is renting a boat and jet skis and having a day out on Lake Lewisville. There are so many companies that offer affordable options, so I’ll pick a few days and spend them with friends on the water.
Any “must-see” places?
Definitely the Dallas Arboretum, Bishop Arts District, and NorthPark Mall. And you can’t forget the Fort Worth Stockyards for a true Texan experience!
What advice do you have for people new to Dallas?
Definitely follow social media accounts that focus on local events and activities in Dallas. They’re the best way to learn about what’s happening in the city from events to deals to restaurant openings!
