Neurodiversity Hiring Initiative

Bring your skills and strengths to a place that embraces diversity.

At Goldman Sachs, we believe who you are – including everything that makes you unique – contributes to how you add value to what you do.  We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that welcomes and celebrates all ideas and perspectives.

The Goldman Sachs Neurodiversity Hiring Initiative is a paid internship program for people who identify as neurodivergent. The program aims to empower and integrate neurodiverse people into our workplace. Through robust training, coaching and mentoring, the program will position participants for the long-term career path that they deserve.

We partner with Specialisterne, a non-profit organization that focuses on integrating neurodiverse people into the workplace, to help us shape an effective program for all phases –  from helping to identify and source candidates to training and preparing them for Goldman Sachs internships.

In 2024, candidates brought forward by Specialisterne had a 100% offer and acceptance rate. As we continue to grow and expand, this is a true example of our fervent commitment to cultivating a work experience where all of our people can realize their full potential and thrive as their authentic selves.

As we head into our sixth year we are excited to announce new locations and available job functions.

Accepted applicants will:

  • Participate in a variety of virtual assessment activities developed, designed, and delivered by our partner, Specialisterne
  • Be invited to participate in an 8-9-week paid internship program with opportunity to convert to full time employment if selected to move forward.

As an internship program participant, you will:

  • Hear from senior leaders, NHI program graduates and other professionals on their experience at the firm
  • Receive coaching and mentorship throughout the internship
  • Explore a new area of expertise and continue to develop interpersonal skills such as cross functional collaboration, public speaking and presenting group work.
