Community TeamWorks

Through Community TeamWorks, the people of Goldman Sachs contribute their ideas, time and expertise to drive tangible progress in our communities. Launched in 1997, this signature volunteering initiative enables our people to work in partnership with nonprofit organizations around the world to make a meaningful difference.

Recent Impact

Since the onset of COVID-19, more than 15,000 CTW volunteers have completed 879 projects supporting 370 nonprofits on the front-lines of serving communities globally.

In 2020, we reimagined our volunteering program to provide virtual support to communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Projects focused on advancing racial equity and supporting groups disproportionately impacted by the pandemic, including students, seniors and small businesses.

In 2021, we redoubled our virtual volunteering strategy to continue safely serving our communities.

In the fall of 2021, where safe to do so, Goldman Sachs volunteers showed up in person to help build affordable housing, revitalize neighborhoods and clean parks and green spaces.
