Small businesses are critical to UK economic growth, but they face challenges in accessing finance, adapting to AI, and securing high-potential talent.

Since outlining the challenges faced by UK small businesses in the 2024 “Small Business Manifesto,” 10,000 Small Businesses UK alumni have identified a set of “Growth Shots” — practical policy ideas that could make a meaningful difference in supporting small enterprise growth and in helping to drive economic growth in the UK.
