Anshul Sehgal

Anshul is global co-head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) and is responsible for Agency Mortgage Trading within Mortgages and Structured Products. He is also a member of the Management Committee. Prior to his current role, Anshul was head of US Interest Rate Products (IRP). Previously, he was co-head of US Interest Rate Trading, and prior to that, head of Non- Linear Rates (Volex) Trading. Earlier in his career, Anshul was a trader on the US Dollar Rate, Vanilla and Exotics Volatility desk for two years, and before that, a desk strat on the US Dollar Rate Options desk. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2011, and was named managing director in 2013 and partner in 2018.

Prior to joining the firm, he was an exotics rates trader at Bank of America for three years.

Anshul earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2004.
