Anthony Gutman is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International (GSI), subject to regulatory approval, and Global Co-Head of Investment Banking. He is a member of the Management Committee, European Management Committee and the Firmwide Client Franchise Committee. Previously, Mr. Gutman was Head of Investment Banking in EMEA. Before that, he was Global Co-Head of Investment Banking Services and Co-Head of UK Investment Banking. Mr. Gutman joined Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in 2007 and was named Partner in 2012.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gutman spent seven years at Citigroup. Earlier in his career, he qualified as a corporate solicitor at Freshfields in London.
Mr. Gutman is a board member of the Booker Prize Foundation and Chairman of The Tate Gallery Foundation. He is also a member of The Sutton Trust strategic advisory and development board.
